Daisy Chains is a mixture of singles and team play. A special 18-hole layout is being installed at Pinto Lake just for this tournament. Teams will be formalized on the day the tournament begins, but ladies are encouraged to gather other lady disc golfers from their home courses to plan ahead if they wish to participate in the team portion of the event. Daisy Chains will also be part of the PDGA Womens Global Event (WGE), including over 400 women playing around the world and competing with one another on the same day! However, women must sign up for the WGE separately at PDGA.COM (click here to register for WGE at PDGA.com). The WGE will also include a great players package, which is in addition to the great players pack provided to players who register for Daisy Chains.

Daisy Chains is seeking sponsors and volunteers to help support the tournament. A particularly fun sponsorship option is to become a score-keeper (only $20, which helps to offset provided meals and other expenses). If you’re interested in this or any other kind of sponsorship for this inaugural women’s disc golf tournament, please contact tournament director Christine Hernlund via the PDGA.COM event page.

Daisy Chains course configuration preview tournament will be held at Pinto Lake on Saturday, 21 April, sign-in at 11AM. Players can enter this preview tournament and compete for cash ($10 entry fee/player), or compete as part of a Pinto Lake DGC bag tag round ($20/bag tag), or do both simultaneously!
